If you are looking for the official Mary Kay website, you need to visit their website at www.marykay.com or call Mary Kay Corporate office directly. So, make sure you do not get yourself all confused especially if you are a new consultant.
There is something else I also want to make clear. While there will be some heart rants blog posts about Mary Kay related topics, this blog is not about slandering Mary Kay business or any other direct sales marketing company.
You probably know that there are many complaints about Mary Kay business all over the net some true and some false. Well, from time to time I will discuss those issues in an unbiased way. I think it is a good thing to be fair to both sides.
By the way your opinion is welcomed here whether you agree with me or not. My personal opinion does not have to be right or demanding, but nothing is wrong with me or you voicing an opinion.
So, feel free to express your own Mary Kay or any other business opinion at the comment section at the end of each blog post.
While you are welcome to disagree with me, this blog is NOT going to be another anti Mary Kay, anti MLM or anti any business platform. While there are some MK directors who may have behaved badly, their acts do NOT represent the entire company.
My take on it is that if you believe Mary Kay Inc or any of their sales force are a bunch of professional schemers, who have ripped you off thousands of dollars, take them to court and settle it there.
I do not believe in cyber bullying in any form. Yep, cyber bullying is not just happening with kids, it is happening with adults. The receiving adults just know how to deal with it much better than kids.
So, if your agenda is to call people out by names in your comments, don’t even waste your time. Your comments will not be approved and most likely your IP address will be banned.
You now see how quickly I cut through the BS and am not even sorry if you find it offensive.

Some of them promise you they have the Mary Kay success code and all you need to do is buy their products to unlock that code for overnight success.
Maybe you have even bought some of those crappy but nicely packaged programs yourself. But you realized most of those training did not help you in any way with your Mary Kay business.
You are still stuck in the mud – they have no Mary Kay success secret code! Did you ask for any proven MK success record? Didn’t think so!
The losers that sold you those products or training programs are clueless about your Mary Kay business or any other business. They sold you lame success secret program and you fell for it. Were you impressed? Bottom line is you got screwed!
If you are looking for some easy press button or a magic wand for overnight success, you will be spinning your wheels for years my friend. There is no overnight success.
Success takes work! If you are too lazy to do what it takes, I suggest you quit pretending to be an entrepreneur and stick to your 9-5 rat race if you have one. If you don’t have one, it is not late to get one. See how much fun it is to work for some boss who can care less about you or your family.
Now that we have cut through some BS let me try to introduce myself! You are probably wondering about me and what makes me think I qualify to do what am doing here….
Are You Wondering Who I Am?
Well, I have done Mary Kay for over a decade and earned 5 Mary Kay cars (Got prove for that and you will see it later on if you care enough to stick around).
Yep, I am the gal who used to drive new Pink Cadillacs every two years and for over 10 years I had zero car loans.
But you know what? I gave it all up!! I know you must be saying to yourself “Oh My Gosh! What a loser!” And you know what? Maybe in your own thinking you are right! You are entitled to your own opinion but in this case, your opinion does not matter.
You might be thinking “Ahhh! So you are talking about some past success? What you got going on now?” Well, keep reading and I will let you be the judge. I had a great career during my Mary Kay years but today I am living my dream.
Was it easy leaving Mary Kay? Nope! I would like to pretend that it was easy, unfortunately it was not easy. I had not just invested over a decade of my life in Mary Kay, I was emotionally invested in the business.
I honestly loved the company, the people, and I even enjoyed the Monday night meeting …. I absolutely love the products.
I still use Mary Kay products to this day. I think their skin care and make up line is up there with the top brand names.
So, leaving Mary Kay was a hard decision to make but it was the right one. Sometimes you just know when your season is over.
For some people, they are meant to do life with Mary Kay and they are happily living their dreams and life purpose with Mary Kay Cosmetics.
For others, you have to figure out your divine purpose and if it is not Mary Kay, you have to move on. If you are unsure, then focus on blossoming where you are.
While I had it all in MK – directorship, big monthly commission checks, Unit Clubs, Pink Cadillacs, Directors Suits, Bar Pins, Offspring directors and many more, I was NOT living my divine purpose.
It was clear to me I had come to the end of my MK chapter and it was time to open a new one. Does that mean Mary Kay business sucks?
Nope! Absolutely not! I just wanted out! I wanted to live my life’s purpose and passion. See, there is a different between making money and living your purpose.
You could have the best paying job in the world and still not live your life with passion and purpose.
For 10 years plus I learned and grew in Mary Kay. For me, Mary Kay business was a vehicle that got me to where I am today and for that I will forever be grateful. I probably would not be doing what I do today had I not gone through the Mary Kay experience.
So many wonderful people were placed in my life during those years and I learned so much from them. Some are still my friends to this days.
Some were phony friends and as soon as I left Mary Kay, they no longer talked to me. I had committed the ultimate sin and in their minds I was a looser who gave up on her dreams.
They kept a distance and the phones went dead. You would have thought I had a contagious disease like Ebola or something.
See, I understand that God put people in your life for a reason, a season or for a lifetime.
When you understand how this works, then you don’t cry over people who were in your life for a season or to help fulfill a particular purpose in your life.
So, I’m grateful to those Mary Kay “friends” that are no longer in my life. You definitely were a big part of my personal growth as an entrepreneur. I once heard Bishop TD Jakes preach about this so beautifully. You can go on Youtube and find that message or Google it – Let people go when it is time for them to go.
To the consultants and directors that have stayed close to me during and after my Mary Kay career, you know who you are. I am a better person today because you are in my life. When I shared with you my dream and passion, you believed in me and gave me the courage to fly.
Now that you know a little bit about my Mary Kay background, let me tell you about my blog. My blog posts will be open, honest and sometimes brutal. I will NOT sugar coat anything. I will tell you the hard truth about your business that nobody is telling you.
Some of my blog posts are written based on the emails I get from my readers and others are based on my own experience and from my journal entries from many years ago.
Things I silently struggled with during my MK career and was unable to voice them all while I put on a happy face. Hopefully this will help someone else and give them the courage to speak up or ask questions.
This will especially be helpful to some directors. Notice I said “some”! Leaders are called to serve not manage and manipulate.
To be honest I am not writing here to make friends but if we end up being friends, then well, that was destined to be. All kidding aside, am here to show you exactly what you need to do to succeed in business. Any business!
You will learn how to avoid the pitfalls that hold lots of direct sales marketing entrepreneurs back. I have come to learn that some of these pitfalls are not unique to Mary Kay business only.
However, there are many savvy men and women who have figured out ways to overcome them. If you care enough to do a Google search, you will realize that direct sales marketing has produced many of our nation’s top millionaires.
As long as you can type and follow a few simple instructions, you can become a Pink Cadillac Mary Kay Sales Director in the next 3 to 6 months.

If you got number 2-4 right, then you will find value in my training and you will be successful in your business unless you have some other underlying issues.
It does not matter who trains you, how many meetings, conferences and seminars you attend, if you don’t have good work ethic, discipline, focus and a plan of action, you will continue to be stuck and miserable in your business.
Show me somebody who have these virtues coupled with a good mentor and coach and I will show you a successful entrepreneur!
